Mom had left early in the morning, before anyone else was awake, so when me and Fang came down the stairs and into the kitchen, we found Iggy cooking pancakes.

In the small, quiet town, two friends sat on a wall eating ice cream together, watching the last rays of sunlight disappear for the night. It was the last day of the summer holidays, and they were savoring every minute of it.
